Llançà The municipality of Llançà covers an area of 28,625 Km2 and with nearly 5.000 inhabitants. Situated in the middle of unique scenery, it is surrounded on both sides not only by the sea, but by two areas of protected countryside, the Natural Parks of Cap de Creus and of the Albera hills.
Llançà’s excellent range of beaches and small, quiet coves, together with the richness of its cultural heritage – ranging from the megalithic (with dolmens and pre-prehistoric remains) to significant examples of pre-Romanesque architecture – make it the ideal place for activity-packed family holidays.

                    Landmarks in the town of Llançà

Romanesque Tower: (12th-14th C): inside this recently restored tower you can find an exhibition of Llançà history and the evolution of the town. Open from Monday to Saturday from 5 to 9 pm.

Saint Vicenç Church (18th C) will be open only for the mass, the flower’s fair in June and the “Pesebres” exhibition (Christmas).

El "Camí de Ronda" is the catalan name for the pathway that extends along the coastline, from the port of Llançà all the way to the next town, Port de la Selva. It serves to walk to the different creeks of Llançà: la Gola, Les Carboneres, playa Bonetti, La Farella, Les Tonyines and Cau del Llop. For 4km the pathway is paved 4 meter wide and has some benches to stop and admire the fantastic view of the sea. It is a perfect place to both practice footing or just take a nice walk.
